As we near the end of September, it's time to reflect on YAMM's mission and vision. At YAMM (Youth Achieving Moral Maturity), our commitment to creating a bright and self-sufficient future for our young people is unwavering. In this final week of our September blog series, we'll summarize our mission, vision, and current programs, emphasizing how we're helping youth achieve a successful future.

Our Mission and Vision and Self-Sufficient:

YAMM's mission is to empower vulnerable youth by creating effective advancing economic opportunity solutions that help them become self-sufficient and improve their quality of life. Our vision is of underserved youth free of poverty, where no young person feels vulnerable.


Current Programs:

1. Bella Diamondz: Empowering young ladies aged 12-16 with vital life skills and etiquette, fostering confidence and personal growth.


2. PreneurMe: Encouraging youth aged 5-16 to embrace entrepreneurship, nurturing innovation and self-sufficiency through practical skills and guidance.


3. I Lead: Allowing young adults aged 18-24 to inspire and guide peers aged 10-17 in leadership and volunteerism.


4. SignLinc: Teaching hearing youth American Sign Language to encourage communication with deaf peers and explore careers in the ASL field.


5. Youth Blocs: An educational masonry program for youth aged 16-17, encouraging future trade careers in construction masonry.


6. ParentMe: Providing parenting education and building a future education coalition for parents.

We believe that education, poverty alleviation, human services, hunger relief, and health and wellness are key pillars to building a better future.
