As a Donor Development Director volunteer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to cultivate and steward relationships with our potential donors. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive donor development plan in collaboration with the organization's leadership team. - Identify and research potential individual and corporate donors who align with our mission and values. - Develop relationships with existing donors through personalized communication, including regular updates, impact reports, and acknowledgments. - Create and implement strategies for donor retention and recognition, including donor appreciation events and special recognition programs. - Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling fundraising materials, including solicitation letters, case statements, and impact stories. - Lead and manage fundraising campaigns, including online giving campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising, and major gift solicitations. - Monitor and analyze donor data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the donor development strategy. - Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate recording and reporting of donations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. - Stay informed about fundraising best practices, industry trends, and changes in donor behavior to adapt strategies accordingly.
